Lush Ultrabland Cleaners

I really like Lush products they are handmade, natural, and not tested on animals.  They're also pretty afforable too, which is also a plus, especially for someone who's just brought a flat!

Lush Ultrabland is a really gentle cleanser made with almond oil, honey, beeswax, and rose. This cleaner feels oily at first to the touch, but does not make your skin oily at all.    It's a great make-up remover too.   To apply, take a small amount of the product in your hands, rub your hands together a bit to spread it out, and then apply it to your face. To remove it, you simply spray Lush Tea Tree Water onto a cotton wool pad on and wipe your face until it is removed.

I have been using both products for a little over a week now and I have noticed a major improvement in my skin.  My skin is less oily and I haven't had any new spots.  I would definitely recommend either of these products for people with combination skin.

Lush Tea Tree Water

I popped into Lush last week as my skin was going through a bad patch and wanted to find something natural to fix it. I spoke to sales women, she gave me some advise and I came out with three products Ultrabland, Full of Grace & Tea Tree Water.

I love this product, I'm so glad I picked this up! I've used this for a week now and I'm very impressed with the results. It does an excellent job of absorbing oil and removing makeup deep in the pores. It smells very fresh and it comes in a nice big bottle which I hope last a long time. Still not sure why it comes in a spray bottle since I hardly ever spray directly on my face, but whatever it works. It seems to be helping with skin so this is a keeper.

Lush Tea Tree Water is available from LUSH stores Nationwide starting at £3.75 for 100g.

Lush Avobath

I tried this for the first time last week. Initially the idea of the avacado put me off however the sales person in Lush raved about it. To me this smells nothing like avacado, it smells more of lemon/lime, it's so refreshing especially after a gym workout in a HOT bath.

Avobath has real mashed avocado and olive oil for moisturising, and it actually does moisturise noticeably without leaving a mess behind in the tub. The only off putting thing about this, is the weird green colour it turns the bath water.

Lush Avobath is available from Lush Online or Lush Stores £3.10 each.

Original Source British Strawberry Shower Gel

Just a quick post to show you the lastest Original Source Shower Gel it's a seasonal/limited edition for Queen's jubilee and the London Olympics. I picked this up for half price in Asda for £1, and I definitely will be stocking up. This is the most amazing strawberry scented shower gel I have used, it smells really sweet and fresh. It leaves the skin soft and clean with a subtle scent of strawberry.

I'd highly recommend this come the summer months.

Boots Nail & Cuticle Oil

A friend at work has been using this, I've used it a few times and it's a really good cuticle oil. So when I finally found it in Boots I picked some up!
I've been using this daily for about a week now and I must say that my cuticles are much more moisturised and healthy than they were a week ago. The oil itself is thin so you only need a small amount on each cuticle and then massage it in. It doesn't have the greatest smell but that don't last too long.

Boots Nail & Cuticle Oil is available from Boots £6.20

Lush Space Girl

On a recent haul in Lush I picked up my lastest bath bomb Space Girl. The smell of this one is difficult to describe … the initial smell is definately like those sweets Parma Violets, but underneath there is a subtle smell of Lush Shower Gel Snow Fairy. It looks like a purple spaceship, and it dusted with a thin layer of red glitter which makes it a girly bath bomb.

When you put it in the bath it turns the bath a really lovely deep purple its also got Popping Candy in it, which means when you put your head under the water you can hear a crackling sound! When I got out of the bath my skin smelt amazing and the scent lasted a few hours. I think this has to be one of my favourite bath bombs.

The LUSH Space girl is available from all LUSH stores and on the LUSH Online for £1.95 each.

Jessica GELeration Nail Review - Week 2

Just a quick post to let you know how my Jessica GELerations nails are going. As you can see in the second picture they are still perfect and not a chip in sight, the only sign of wear is the fact my nails have grown so there is a little gap between cuticle and polish. I love them, they look so good and glossy.

Thierry Mugler - Alien Aqua Chic Perfume

Thierry Mugler has added two new fragrances to his Angel and Alien collections.

Angel Aqua Chic and Alien Aqua Chic both came out in March and have been inspired by water and its dewy freshness. Angel Aqua Chic, which is in the a light-blue star bottle, is made of cornflower water, pink pepper, lemon, patchouli, and vanilla. Alien Aqua Chic, is in the pink gem-like bottle, is infused with ginger water, verbena, freesia, and woody amber perfume notes.

I picked up a bottle of Alien Aqua Chic last weekend, I love this perfume so much! I thought I was going to be disappointed as I am not a big fan of Angel but I was wrong. It has a very feminen smell to it and with one spray you stay smelling beautiful all day!

Lush Vanilla Fountain

I'm a huge Vanilla fan, so when I was having a little haul in Lush I couldn't resist picking up a Vanilla Fountain Bath Bomb.

Vanilla Fountain looks and smells like a dessert. It's unmistakable because it's the only bath bomb with a stick of vanilla sticking out of it. As you could probably tell by its name, it smells like vanilla, but it also has a hidden kick of jasmine and gardenia.

When Vanilla Fountain is placed in the bath, it dissolves really quickly and turns the water a bright yellow. When I got out of the bath I smelt great and could really smell the Vanilla on my skin, I wouldn't think twice about buying this again!

Vanilla Fountain is available from Lush £3.15 each.

Jessica GELeration Nail Review - Week 1

Saturday I went to a Beauty Salon called Elizabeth Beauty to get my Jessica GELerations Nails done. I would highly recommend the Salon as the staff were friendly and I'm very happy with my nails.

I was interested in Jessica GELerations as I always have Bio-Gel from Nails Inc but these are so expensive I wanted to try something a bit cheaper. The colour range in GELeration is pretty impressive, I was contimplating Black but decided to go for Red. I'm happy I did as they look lovely.

I will update after having them on for a week and we shall see if they last 3-4 weeks. So far I am impressed and love that they are so shiny. Nobody could tell that they were gels as it just looks like I have nail polish on and my entire manicure took less than an hour and I loved that I walked out of the salon with completely dry nails so no risk of chipping them when paying for the manicure!

MAC Lipstick - Blankety

Blankety is a beautiful nude, pale pinky lipstick. It glides on effortlessly and is creamy. I have been eyeing this lipstick for about 2 months now and have been debating whether to get it or not. So when my boyfriend offered, I couldn't resist.

Mac Blankety is an amplified formula, so it is very pigmented and stays on your lips for ages. I find this a little more glossy than the rest of the lipstick I have in this formula, but I am not complaining as this doesn't dry my lips out at all. This is a great nude for me as I find lipsticks like Hue or Creme De Nude really hard to wear and this is just so easy as its the little bit darker.

MAC Blankety is available at MAC Online £13.50

Harvey Prince - Ageless

Thanks to Sunday Girl I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of the Harvey Prince - Ageless Perfume giveaway. So glad as this perfume smells amazing!

Ageless is a scent that is supposed to make you smell younger.  Not in a sweety kind of way, but it actually includes notes that have been proven to cause people to perceive you as younger.

When you first open the bottle and spray, the very first smell is pink grapefruit, and then other fruitiness, it reminds me a bit of DKNY Be Delicious. It does go on a little strong, but I find that most, if not all, perfumes do, and this one mellows out in just a few minutes.

I can still smell this scent on my wrist after several hours later.  It smells nice with my body chemistry.  Do I really smell years younger?  I don't know.  But I'm happy to have received this, because now I have a new scent to liven things up.

MAC Eyeshadow - Girlie

My fab boyfriend treated me to this lovely Mac Eyeshadow, it's the perfect colour ............. PINK!
MAC Girlie is a mauve pink eyeshadow that has the slightest touch of shimmer. It's a darker pink when you see it in the pot, but once applied it goes to a very light shimmery, light-med pink.

It's well pigmented and looks great with my pale skin & blue eyes, it really makes them stand out. I think this looks nice with Phloof! in the inner corners and Girle on the rest of the eyelid.

MAC Girlie Eyeshadow is available at MAC Online £12.00
